We are a group of people that want to give you a place where you can come and pick up some important tips, tricks and methods on getting the most out of your WordPress website.

Everything we learn relating to WordPress, we’ll be putting right here so you can read all about it and if you choose to add whatever it is to your website, you can!

Blogs are the way to go.

Blogs are one of the easiest to install and use, “Out of the Box” scripts available today. They are also much loved by Search Engines, So if you have something to show or talk about, or both, A wordpress website is the way to go.

I’m no stranger to websites.

Actually I stayed away from using anything that was vaguely like WordPress for quite a number of years. I had created my own little system which I have been teaching to my students for some years. And it’s simple and it works. But it’s not something you can use if you don’t know anything about HTML, CSS or PHP. Let’s face it, as fun as it all sounds, who has time to learn all that stuff. Not many! So I’ve turned to using WordPress for a number of reasons.
1. It gives me a quick website where I just need to get something up and running.
2. I can quickly apply any theme I like. Although I’m a great programmer, my visual design skills , well let’s just say they aint that briliiant, but I do have my good days.
3. If I can learn WordPress and it’s in and outs and get it to jump through hoops and be able teach that to others who don’t want to go through any massive learning curve, then I’m happy and so are my students.

What if I wanted to add more PHP stuff?

One of the other major drawbacks for myself was the inablilty to be able to add in all my great little PHP and Database stuff. Which , in hindsight, isn’t impossible – thanks to Plugins. So if I come up with any great ideas, all I need to do is create a plugin and let you know and say – hey heres something neat you can quickly add to your website…

The Keywords here are – heres something neat you can quickly add to your website. That’s you – you don’t need me or anyone else.
Which is the other benefit of sites based upon scripts like WordPress. Anyone can write and add to the website. So you don’t rely on your webmaster making any changes.
